Clutch replacement, manual and automatic transmission service, and fluid changes done to spec. These are big jobs on imports, and we have done plenty of them, including full clutch jobs that send the car out shifting like new.
This covers clutch replacement on manual cars, transmission fluid and filter service, and repair of shifting problems on both manual and automatic imports. A clutch job means pulling the transmission to replace the clutch disc, pressure plate, and release bearing, and usually the rear main seal while it is apart.
Driveline work is labor-intensive, so it pays to do it once and do it right. The wrong transmission fluid can ruin an import automatic, and a clutch installed without replacing the bearing or resurfacing the flywheel will fail early. Correct parts and fluids are the difference between years of clean shifting and a comeback.
