A pre-purchase inspection is a top-to-bottom evaluation of a used vehicle before you buy it. We scan for stored codes, check the engine and driveline, look underneath for leaks, rust, and accident repair, test the major systems, and give you an honest report on its real condition.
Used imports can hide expensive problems: deferred timing service, a tired transmission, prior collision work, or an overheat in the history. A couple hundred dollars on an inspection can save you thousands, or give you the leverage to negotiate the price down to what the car is actually worth.
Get an inspection before you buy any used import, especially a private-party sale or a car priced suspiciously low. If the seller balks at letting you have it checked, that tells you something.
